James Reilly

James is a student of the kdf tradition and principle instructor at Goliath Historical Fencing Academy His coaching and instruction are rooted in the notion that targeted skill development must happen on a student by student basis. He firmly believes that fencing should be grounded in a strong theoretical framework. He also believes that knowledge and technical execution should be cultivated in a way that gives the student confidence in their abilities. His goal is that the student walks away knowing that they can do something they couldn't do before.
