Jeremy Pace

Jeremy Pace is the head instructor for Cymbrogi School of Western Martial Arts out of Oklahoma City. Jeremy has been practicing WMA/HEMA since 2001 but began MOF and other sword arts when he was 15 years old. Jeremy, and Cymbrogi,  primarily study early KDF (Kunst des Fechten) and Longsword has been their weapon of choice for student and skills development. Jeremy is a firm believer however that only through fully exploring KDF can you become masterful in the Art. This means they also offer classes on Medieval Wrestling (Ringen), Dagger, Messer, and Harness.

Sprechfenster

The Speaking Window for all of KDF.

The Speaking Window is an often misunderstood and misapplied technique/skill by KDF practitioners. The name alone sounds confusing but after nearly 25 years of studying and applying KDF concepts, Jeremy believes this is the keystone of KDF and the 5 Words. Binding, feeling, the Vor are all covered in this class and are vitally important to Sprechfenster.

This class runs for 90 minutes and is scaffolded for skill building. Over the 90 minutes we will build skills but also show you tools to help develop the skills on your own in order to improve your KDF concepts and overall fencing. The Keystone of Sprechfenster does not just apply to Longsword, but can be used with all bladed weapons and is useful no matter what your primary master or weapon of choice might be.

Sword & Buckler
